What You Need
Before you start, make sure you have the following ready.
Step-by-Step Setup Guide
Follow these steps in order. The entire process takes about 5 minutes.
Step 1 — Enable Apps from Unknown Sources
On your Fire Stick, navigate to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Find the toggle labelled "Apps from Unknown Sources" and switch it to ON. This setting allows you to install apps not listed in the Amazon App Store — required for TiviMate.
Step 2 — Install the Downloader App
From the Fire Stick home screen, press the Search icon at the top. Type "Downloader" and look for the app by AFTVnews (orange icon). Click Download to install. Open Downloader and tap Allow when asked for storage permission. This app lets you download APK files directly to your Fire Stick from any URL.
Step 3 — Download and Install TiviMate
Open Downloader and tap the URL bar. Type tivimate.com and press Go. Navigate to the download section and download the latest TiviMate APK. When the download finishes, click Install and wait a few seconds. Once installed, tap Done (not Open — configure it first). Alternatively, search IPTV Smarters Pro directly in the Amazon App Store — no sideloading required.
Step 4 — Add Your WatchIPTV M3U Playlist
Open TiviMate. Tap "Add Playlist" → select "M3U Playlist" → paste your WatchIPTV M3U URL → tap Next → name your playlist (e.g. WatchIPTV) → tap Add. TiviMate will load your channel list in 20–60 seconds. If you received an EPG URL, go to Settings → EPG Sources after setup to add it.
Step 5 — Start Streaming
Your full WatchIPTV library of 45,000+ live channels, 100,000+ movies, and VOD catalogue is ready. Browse by category, tap the EPG button for the TV schedule, or use search. To add favourites, long-press any channel and select Add to Favourites.

All of these apps are compatible with your WatchIPTV M3U subscription.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Having trouble? These are the most common issues and how to fix them fast.
Double-check that Apps from Unknown Sources is enabled in Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. On some models this appears as "Install Unknown Apps" — enable it specifically for the Downloader app.
Verify your M3U URL — copy it directly from your WatchIPTV welcome email rather than typing it manually. Make sure there are no extra spaces. If the problem persists, force-stop TiviMate and re-enter the URL.
4K streams require 25+ Mbps. Run a speed test or switch to an HD version of the channel to confirm the issue is bandwidth. Contact WatchIPTV support to switch to a geographically closer server.
Clear the app's cache: Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications → TiviMate → Clear Cache. Restart TiviMate. Go to Settings → Playlists and tap Update Now to force a fresh sync.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about IPTV on Fire Stick.
Yes, all Fire Stick models including the Lite work with IPTV. The Lite supports up to 1080p HD streaming. For 4K channels, use a Fire Stick 4K or 4K Max.
TiviMate has a superior interface, better EPG integration, and supports recordings (~$4.99/year). IPTV Smarters Pro requires no sideloading. For long-term use, TiviMate is the better choice — but IPTV Smarters is a solid alternative for first-time users.
A VPN is optional but recommended for privacy. It can also help if your ISP throttles video streaming traffic. NordVPN and ExpressVPN both have dedicated Fire Stick apps in the Amazon App Store.
With a standard 1-connection plan, you can stream on one device at a time. To watch on 2–4 Fire Sticks simultaneously, upgrade to a multi-connection plan by contacting our support team via WhatsApp.
In TiviMate, go to Settings → Playlists, tap your WatchIPTV playlist, select Edit, and update the M3U URL field. In IPTV Smarters Pro, navigate to User Panel → Edit User. Changes take effect immediately.
