What You Need
Have these ready before starting the setup process.
Step 1 — Find Your MAG Box MAC Address
Your MAC address is needed to activate your subscription on the MAG device. You must provide this to WatchIPTV before setup.
Locate the MAC Address
The MAC address is printed on the sticker on the bottom of your MAG Box. It looks like: 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX.
Share with WatchIPTV
When purchasing or after purchase, provide your MAC address to WatchIPTV support via WhatsApp. Your subscription will be activated against that specific device's MAC address before you can connect.
Step 2 — Configure Portal URL
Once your MAC address is registered, enter the portal URL into your MAG Box settings.
Step 1 — Open System Settings
Press the Menu button on your MAG remote. Navigate to System Settings and press OK.
Step 2 — Go to Servers → Portals
Inside System Settings, scroll to Servers and select it. Then select Portals.
Step 3 — Enter Your Portal URL
In the Portal 1 name field, type a label like "WatchIPTV". In the Portal 1 URL field, enter the Stalker Portal URL provided in your WatchIPTV welcome email.
http://server.watchiptv.tv:port/stalker_portal/c/ — use the exact URL from your welcome email.
Step 4 — Save and Reboot
Press OK to save, then navigate back and select Reboot. Your MAG Box will restart and connect to the portal automatically.
Step 5 — Start Watching
After reboot, the portal will load with your full channel list, EPG TV guide, and VOD library. Use the MAG remote to navigate categories and select channels.

Troubleshooting
Common MAG Box IPTV issues and how to resolve them.
Your MAC address may not be registered yet. Contact WatchIPTV support via WhatsApp with your exact MAC address to activate your device. Make sure you're using the MAC address shown in System Information, not the one on a sticker that may have been replaced.
Double-check the URL for typos — copy it exactly from your WatchIPTV welcome email. Ensure your MAG Box is connected to the internet. Test with a wired Ethernet connection for the most reliable results.
Use an Ethernet cable instead of Wi-Fi for the most stable experience. Check that your internet speed is at least 25 Mbps for HD streams. Contact WatchIPTV support to be switched to a geographically closer server if buffering persists.
EPG data is served via the portal and loads automatically after connection. If it's missing, try rebooting the MAG Box — EPG can take several minutes to populate on first load. Ensure your MAG Box remains connected to the internet during this process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about using IPTV on MAG boxes.
Each subscription is linked to one MAC address. If you want to use IPTV on multiple MAG boxes simultaneously, you'll need separate subscriptions for each device. Contact WatchIPTV support via WhatsApp to arrange multi-device plans.
A Portal URL (Stalker/Middleware) is designed specifically for MAG boxes and provides a full portal UI with EPG, VOD, and channel groups built in. An M3U URL is a playlist file compatible with apps like VLC or TiviMate on other devices. WatchIPTV provides both — contact support to request either format.
MAG 520, 522, and 524 support 4K UHD streaming. Older models like MAG 250, 254, and 322 are limited to 1080p HD. Check your specific model's specifications — the model number is printed on the bottom label of the device.
Ethernet is strongly recommended for the most stable IPTV experience. Wi-Fi can cause buffering and freezing, especially for HD and 4K streams. If Wi-Fi is your only option, ensure your MAG Box is positioned as close as possible to your router and use the 5GHz band if available.
